Random turns during Midflight?

Featured Replies

Hi, I recently bought the PMDG 747, and I need some assistance here. When I am in mid-flight, I am here randomly taking left and right turns WITH autopilot ON (LNAV, and VNAV). So im crusing and it takes a really dangerous bank turn, id say it took 60 degrees. It still flies in the flight path, but it seems like it struggles to find it. Please reply ASAP or email me at [email protected].

A little advice: Please don´t post your e-mail address in the froum. Thx.

Best regards, Steffen

Ok, this does not help me with my PMDG. Could anyone help me fix this bug?

It is likely due to FSX weather periodically updating, causing a sudden shift in wind direction/speed. Try disabling all weather & see if that fixes the problem. If it does, you'll be left with two options. A: Always fly with no windB: Use a registered copy of FSUIPC and enable wind-smoothing. That will slow the chnges down to something the aircraft can handle. If it doesn't fix your issue, someone more experienced will have to chime in.
