June 6, 201114 yr Hello everyone!Since school is out, I am in the process of re-learning/mastering all of the PMDG aircraft for FSX. I was flying the J41 last night, and everything went swell until after landing. Here is what went down - I was on final to 01R at KLAS. I followed the procedures in the Flight Operations Manual. The condition levers were at flight, spoilers were armed, and flaps were set to 25. I set her down at a comfortable rate and pulled the throttle/torque levers into beta range to slow the aircraft. Spoilers deployed as normal. Once I got to 60 knots, I pressed F1 to set the torque back to its lowest setting and applied manual braking to slow the aircraft further. While doing this I set the condition levers to taxi. I then pulled off to the left and came to a stop on the taxiway. I configured the lights, raised the flaps, and unarmed the spoilers. Then as I went to move the throttles to get the airplane moving, I noticed the problem. I couldn't advance the throttles past the point of where the torque could not pass about 21%. I moved my Saitek X52 throttles, but the throttles in the simulator wouldn't budge past the specific point of 21% torque. I tried to move them manually with the mouse, but only the left engine throttle would move far enough to get moving. The right engine throttle wouldn't go past the 21% torque setting. Am I doing something wrong or is there an error in the simulation? I can provide more info as I saved the flight in FSX. Thanks in advance!Regards,Kevin Burns
June 6, 201114 yr The actual J41 (not sure about the manual as I never read manuals xD) call for the gust locks to be engaged during taxi. In doing so in the sim, you cannot turn and the power levers do not pass a certain amount of power. Ensure you don't engage those until your at the gate. If this is not the case, I'm out of ideas *scratches head*Regards, Cameron Caldwell CPL (A) King Air 200 Pilot

I disengaged them and I could taxi fine. It is amazing how detailed PMDG models their aircraft. Thanks!
June 6, 201114 yr Anytime! Happy simming! :) And yes, PMDG is by far superior to all other add-ons on the market (however Majestic Software looks pretty awesome too!). I'm more of a turboprop guy so I fly the J41 a lot and can't wait for the Dash 8 to be released :( Regards, Cameron Caldwell CPL (A) King Air 200 Pilot
