Unable to land my eaglesoft Citation II

Featured Replies

Have been flying this plane some times now. Everytime my landing has failed I and I don't understand why. The problem is that I can't slow down the plane qfter touchdown. AP disconnected but I couldn't engage reverse thrust by pressing F2. But when tested before takeoff that worked. The brakes seem to not work anymore. Also last time I landed the plane started to role strongle to the left right after touchdown. My speedbug was set to 163 kt. My testflight in question was from Save EKSG to Kastrup EKCH.

Sounds like a throttle setup problem and an A/P which is NOT disconnected....:(

Not sure about the eaglesoft plane but AFAIK MSFS treats the autopilot and the autothrottle as different systems. So be sure you disconnect the autothrottle as well.

No the A/P was disconnected. I use a Flightsim yoke to control throttle. Does this plane have a autothrottle?Could it be that I landed with to high speed and the thrust reverse can't be engaged because of that?

No AT on the CII. Improper calibration can lead to no RT. If I recall the squat switch must be closed for RT to work.We weren't there but it sounds like pilot error or improper calibration.

What and where is the squat switch?Do you refer to the calibration of the flightsim yoke? It's calibrated and moves throttle levers on the throttle panel between idle and full as expected

"Squat switch" refers to a switch which closes when main landing gear is compressed and insures the electronics that aircraft is on the ground.FS likes to be assured that the throttle levers are 110% idle position, "fully retarded", before it will allow RT.
