Where should I look to fix this error ?

Featured Replies

My FS2004 crashes on startup with this error . . .I know I do not have this aircraft installed. Where should I go looking for the source of this problem ?Thanks for any help.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/52262.jpg

You can download fs9 Configurator(Avsim). Then select another saved flight(under File/Open Saved Flights). Works for me.

This is most probably caused because you have once saved a flight as default with the mentioned airplane being flown. When you remove that aircraft later on, FS2004 will generate this error message. It can not find the plane anymore. However, this should not crash the sim. If you acknowledge this message, FS should work fine.To solve this, just save a new flight as default. Make sure all options (engine on/off, battery switches, weather, location etc etc) are set to your preference.
