Having to reinstall FS2004

Due to many problems I am having to reinstall FS2004. I am so disorganised but have found my CDs and there are 3 in the box. I thought there were 4. Am I missing 1?

When I have this problem, I usually find the missing one (#4) in the CD Drive of my PC.Hope yours is there and safe.

Yes. Unless you employ other methods, CD #4 is needed to actually start/run the sim...oh and sorry to walk over your reply, Bob K. We posted at the same time...Rick

Thanks for that. I am missing no4 then. Searching the house now as its not in my cd tray. Do I actually need no 4 for set up as i read somewhere that there is a file going around where you dont need no4 in the tray to start up the sim?

It's used for more than just the CD check. There are scenery files are on CD#4. You can't install FS2004 with only 3 CD's.Doug
