December 13, 200322 yr In FS2002, I had the eyepoint in the VC adjusted to my preference via this line in the aircraft.cfg file [Views]eyepoint= -4.4, -0.85, 2.1 And now I have done the same to the Cessna 172 and the Real Air 172 in FS2004.BUT -- I can't seem to get it to work with other default a/c in FS2004. Doesn't matter what changes I make to this line in the Baron and the Cessna 182, the eyepoint remains the same.Help!! What am I doing wrong? Thanks Barry
December 13, 200322 yr Author AAAH!! -- I think I've got it. It seems that in FS2004 you have to completely restart FS2004 for any changes in the aircraft.cfg file to take effect. In FS2002, all you needed to do was reload the a/c.Could someone please confirm this? Thanks Barry
December 13, 200322 yr The SDK points out that there is a key assignment in FS9 to force an aircraft reload. By default there is no key assigned but that can be edited. The SDK also points out that if any AI aircraft are using that aircraft this method won't be successful since the data will be retained in the cache.scott s..
