Overclocking a GPU

Would overclocking this card be of any benefit to FSX on the machine in my signature? Just wondering, thanks.

Perhaps, but it's likely to be quite small.

I agree with TechguyMaxC. I bought a GTX260 Superclocked Edition when I built my i7 system and still run the 260 but..... I have found that to be able to update to the latest drivers which I do see a performance benefit using I have to down clock it to the default clocks for it to be stable. When I buy my next card, it will not be a overclocked one as I too feel it makes much difference in FSX. Now with that being said this may not be the case in other games or even in the new FLIGHT when it comes out. Just my 2 cents, opinions will vary greatly.Jim

Luckily, I haven't had to downclock mine when updating drivers, but I guess I'll just leave it where it is. NYC is still a frame killer for me, thought it might help.
