June 29, 201114 yr Hey,first of all let me start by saying that LINDA looks to be an excellent program. Sure as hell will save us a lot of time configuring the controls. That said, I have following annoying problem: whenever I want to change aircraft, or even load a flight (not from the main menu, but when already in-game on the ramp), FSX crashes and quits (fatal error occurred blablabla and no further details). It's with any aircraft that I select, or with any saved flight that I try to load, so IMO it's not aircraft or flight related.I even tried with deleting my fsuipc.ini file so the games reinitializes one, but the problem persists. To confirm my problem is related to LINDA (or a possible conflict with something else), I removed the LINDA files from the modules folder (so I went back to my pre-LINDA modules folder) and the problem went away. I could change aircraft or load other flights normally again. So not sure what's happening here. Some more info:- I am using EZDOK Camera addon 1.17 (which uses the HAT of one of my joysticks (SAITEK X52 Pro), so not sure if that's interfering with something).- Latest version of FSUIPC registered (4.711)- Using LINDA 1.01- I can load any aircraft or flight from the main menu whenever I first start FSX. However, as said, when I've loaded or created a flight, and want to change aircraft or load another flight directly from ingame, it crashes. Also, when I select "end flight" to go back to the main menu, it crashes.Anyone else experiencing this or knowing what the issue could be ?Thanks and keep up the great work !Mathieu Mathieu Souphy
June 29, 201114 yr Commercial Member Hello Mathieu,Install LINDA back to get those crashes again. And after the crash occurred again, send me your fsuipc4.ini + fsuipc4.log files. June 29, 201114 yr I use all the same addons and even the X52 Pro and do not have problems loading different aircraft while in the cockpit of an aircraft. I do not have the Saitek SST software installed and it's on Windows 7 64bit and the drivers for the X52 were installed by the OS I didn't install them from Saitek. Cheers, Andy.
June 29, 201114 yr Author Okay, here's the sequence I did:- deleted fsuipc4.ini so game creates a new one- loading up a flight with default cessna- changed weather to day instead of night (should'nt matter but I say it for the sake of completeness)- changed aircraft, selected the PMDG JS41 --> I get a first glimpse of the JS41 cockpit for 1 second, then FSX crashes.FSUIPC4.INI [General]UpdatedByVersion=4711History=NVUHVF8S5GKMNXVMSXQBPMouseWheelTrim=NoMouseWheelTrimSpeed=1JoystickTimeout=20PollGFTQ6=YesBlankDisplays=NoFixControlAccel=NoFixMachSpeedBug=NoVisibilityOptions=NoOneCloudLayer=NoCloudTurbulence=NoCloudIcing=NoGenerateCirrus=NoSuppressCloudTurbulence=NoMaxIce=-4MinIce=-1UpperWindGusts=NoSuppressWindTurbulence=NoSuppressWindVariance=NoWindTurbulence=NoTurbulenceRate=1.0,5.0TurbulenceDivisor=20,20,40,40SuppressAllGusts=NoMaxSurfaceWind=0WindLimitLevel=200WindDiscardLevel=400WindAjustAltitude=NoWindAjustAltitudeBy=2000SmoothBySimTime=NoWindSmoothing=NoWindSmoothness=2WindSmoothAirborneOnly=YesPressureSmoothness=0TemperatureSmoothness=0DisconnTrimForAP=NoZeroElevForAPAlt=NoThrottleSyncAll=NoWhiteMessages=NoShowPMcontrols=NoSpoilerIncrement=512MagicBattery=NoRudderSpikeRemoval=NoElevatorSpikeRemoval=NoAileronSpikeRemoval=NoReversedElevatorTrim=NoClockSync=NoClockSyncMins=5ClearWeatherDynamics=NoOwnWeatherChanges=NoTimeForSelect=4LoadFlightMenu=NoLoadPlanMenu=NoPauseAfterCrash=NoBrakeReleaseThreshold=75SaveDataWithFlights=NoZapSound=fireworkShortAircraftNameOk=NoUseProfiles=NoTCASid=FlightTCASrange=40AxisCalibration=NoDirectAxesToCalibs=NoShowMultilineWindow=YesSuppressSingleline=NoSuppressMultilineFS=NoAxisIntercepts=NoDontResetAxes=NoGetNearestAirports=NoWeatherReadFactor=2WeatherRewriteSeconds=1CustomWeatherModify=NoSimConnectStallTime=1LuaRerunDelay=66[JoyNames]AutoAssignLetters=No0=Logitech G25 Racing Wheel USB0.GUID={D589D950-5648-11E0-8001-444553540000}1=Saitek X52 Pro Flight Controller1.GUID={A85363C0-57FB-11E0-8001-444553540000}[buttons]ButtonRepeat=20,10[MacroFiles]1=4X_DA20-1002=767[LuaFiles]1=ipcReady2=linda[AutoSave]Next=1Interval=60Files=10SaveOnGround=NoAutoSaveEnabled=No[GPSout]GPSoutEnabled=No[GPSout2]GPSoutEnabled=No[WideServer]WideFSenabled=YesAdvertiseService=1Port=8002Port2=9002[sounds]Path=D:\Games\FSX\Sound\Device1=Primary Sound DriverDevice2=Headset (Realtek High Definition Audio)Device3=Speakers (Logitech Z-5 Speakers)Device4=Realtek Digital Output(Optical) (Realtek High Definition Audio)Device5=Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio)[Window.LUA display]Docked=7413, 3190, 3537, 2452FSUIPC4.log********* FSUIPC4, Version 4.711 by Pete Dowson *********Trying to connect to SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07 ...User Name="(private)"User Addr="(private)"FSUIPC4 Key is providedWideFS7 Key is providedRunning inside FSX on Windows 7 (using SimConnect Acc/SP2 Oct07)Module base=61000000Wind smoothing fix is fully installedDebugStatus=255 983 System time = 29/06/2011 23:44:11 983 FLT UNC path = "O:\Users\mathieu\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\" 983 FS UNC path = "D:\Games\FSX\" 1326 LogOptions=00000000 00000001 1341 SimConnect_Open succeeded: waiting to check version okay 20358 Running in "Microsoft Flight Simulator X", Version: 10.0.61472.0 (SimConnect: 10.0.61259.0) 20358 Initialising SimConnect data requests now 20358 FSUIPC Menu entry added 20405 O:\Users\mathieu\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files\default.FLT 20405 D:\Games\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\C172\Cessna172SP.AIR 131867 Aircraft="Cessna Skyhawk 172SP Paint1" 131883 System time = 29/06/2011 23:46:22, Simulator time = 23:44:31 (23:44Z) 132273 Starting everything now ... 132289 LUA: beginning "D:\Games\FSX\Modules\ipcReady.lua" 132289 LUA: ended "D:\Games\FSX\Modules\ipcReady.lua" 132304 LUA: 132304 LUA: [iNIT]LINDA:: Loading... 132367 LUA: LINDA:: Aircraft: Cessna Skyhawk 172SP Paint1 132367 LUA: LINDA:: Aircraft module detected: FSX Default 132398 LUA: LINDA:: AivlaSoft library loaded... 132398 LUA: LINDA:: FSX standard library loaded... 132413 LUA: LINDA:: RealityXP library loaded... 132429 LUA: LINDA:: A2A MAP library loaded... 132491 LUA: LINDA:: Loading a fallback joysticks config... 132491 LUA: LINDA:: Loading FSX Default joysticks config... 132507 LUA: LINDA:: Module: FSX Default Started... 132507 LUA: LINDA:: Ready to go, Captain! 132507 LUA: LINDA:: 132523 LUA: LINDA:: Offsets watching list cleared! 133443 Advanced Weather Interface Enabled 150978 Sim stopped: average frame rate for last 20 secs = 29.1 fps 210398 D:\Games\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG_JS4100\pmdg_j41.AIR 213971 Aircraft="PMDG Jetstream 41 Eastern Airlines" It's late now so I'm off to bed.See ya.
