If I take off from LFLG and head towards LSMI (Interlaken,Switzerland), with or without a loaded flight plan, FS9 suddenly disappears clean as a whistle to the desktop. This same thing happens when I go from Spokane to Yakima. Nowhere else does this happen. Anyone have a clue what is going on with this? I do use FSGenesis mesh . . .Noel

I started having this problem not too long ago and it got worse over time. It got so bad that I did a clean re-install of FS9 after having no success with rebuilding FS9.cfg, and trying a bunch of other fruitless measures.I don't really know what was causing the problem; but I do know that I had been downloading and installing _ALOT_ of replacement textures, and my best guess is that something got corrupted somewhere in the process.I've got FSGenesis mesh in my new install and everything is A-OK; so I'm sure that had nothing to do with it.

It seems to be here a big problem with one or more original Microsoft Fall textures.My explanation:I have an absolute clean install of FS9, default setting for everything, absolutely no addons for this testing. Start from LSMF (Mollis Switzerland) December 13th at 12 O'clock noon. The sim collapse to desktop.(Independent from weather or AI traffic)Start at same place, same day, but at night, everything is OK.Start at same place, same time on December 22th (winter!) everything is OK.Start same place, same time sometimes in october: no problem...This behaviour has began some times ago, as snow started to appear on the sceneries, becoming worse from day to day.Yesterday, I crashed to desktop nearing LKPR (Prague) and EBBR (Brussels) and today flying to LSZH (Zurich) and LSMF.I think one texture may be corrupted somewhere and if this texture is used in the scenery, the sim crashes.Please, make the same test as explained above and post your results, this may be interesting for our comunity.

Hi Jean-Claude:since Joachim (Jobia) has posted a gloabal patch for the seasonal CTDs I believe it's more interesting to find places or situations where the patch *doesn't* work.
