OS compatibility

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, I plan to make a little network across two computers. One is my Fs system (see spec´s below) and the other one is going to be my dad´s old machine with windows XP professional and an pentium 4 CPU. I will connect them via lan and use the second one as a moving map with Plan-G and displaying approach plate and so on. Thus it is imperative that the two systems should be able to speak with each other so that the data can be transferred from one to another. Will this be possible or do I have to get a new windows 7 or vista?

Best regards, Steffen

Thanks for the information. Hopefully everything will go well.Btw. do you know whether I´ll need a registered version of FSUIPC cause Plan-G works with FSUIPC?

Guest jahman

You will need a registered version of FSUIPC and of WideFS, so your app can access FSUIPC over a network. There's a discount if you buy both thogether.Cheers,- jahman.

Will it be possible that I only connect a second monitor to my grafic crad and this one shows Plan-G and the other one FS? (I want to use Fs in full screen mode.) Or do I have to switch to windows mode for archieving this? I think of this cause FSUIPC and WideFS for FS9 and FSX will cost arround 80€ and I won´t have that much money in the next time. The monitot is no problem. I´ll get one from a friend of mine.

Best regards, Steffen
