July 9, 201114 yr Ppl, Till yesterday Bojote's fsx.cfg tweaks meant nothing to me as i had never heard about it, but one of the member's posted about this tweak yesterday and i used it, simply amazing "Till" i started Freetrack, i lost around 15-17 frames, has anyone faced this prob with TrackIR or Freetrack using Bojote's tweaks. July 9, 201114 yr No, I'm using many of Bojote's tweaks together with FreeTrack, having no problem.I had loss of frames related with FreeTrack when first installed on Win 7-64, and solved it using a program able to assign FreeTrack process to a single of my four cores (I7 860).

July 9, 201114 yr I too am using freetrack with Bojote's tweaks with no trouble. Freetrack runs on core 1 (numbering the cores as such 0,1,2,3). I use "RunWithAffinity.exe" to make desktop icons for tracktrack, realWXlite, etc.Oh, btw I also took a idea from the board here, and used classic desktop. It really helped my frame rates. Take a look here!http://forum.free-tr...pic=1524&page=3 Using the described program (process.exe), I created a file called Freetrack1core.cmd with inside this lines:start freetrack.exeprocess -a freetrack.exe 0010process -p freetrack.exe highit works well for me.Mauro
July 9, 201114 yr Author Take a look here!http://forum.free-tr...pic=1524&page=3 Thnx guys, but now it looks like i may need to buy a Quad core as i am using a Dual Core E5700 3.0 Ghz so if i put FSX (with Bojote's tweaks) on a single core and Freetrack on the other core would it not damage my FPS ?Solren,Hey are you a RL Pilot, and if you are then maybe i could ask you a maths questions , i actually forgot how to do that calculation, i was doing virtual PPL training but left it half way, i wanted to calculate altitude based on the airpressure. I simply forgot what it was. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 9, 201114 yr Do not touch FSX!You only need to launch FreeTrack with the cmd file, using 01 in your dual core, so the process do not overload the first core mainly used by FSX. start freetrack.exeprocess -a freetrack.exe 01process -p freetrack.exe normal

July 9, 201114 yr Aha, cool so freetrack would run on the core. great.Yes, obviously you must first copy the process.exe file in windows\system32 (I had a copy also in windows\sysWOW64 for safety).Mauro

July 9, 201114 yr No, download the zip file from this link http://www.beyondlog.../process203.zipthen extract the process.exe file in system32 and for safety in sysWOW64 directories. To finish, in the FreeTrack folder you must create a txt file with this lines inside: start freetrack.exeprocess -a freetrack.exe 01process -p freetrack.exe normal be sure to save it with cmd extension (FreeTrack1core.cmd as example) and run it instead of the normal freetrack.exe. You can also create a shortcut on the desktop. Mauro

July 9, 201114 yr Author I think i found out why my FPS was dropping, it used to drop in a windowed mode , the moment i switch to maximum the fps goes up :) Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
