Hi all..I have one huge problem with FSX, and I really cannot sort it.I am currently without the SDK. I cannot get the Autogen Editor working,so I've checked the FSDeveloper site, and I'm desperately trying touninstall and reinstall the SDK and updates.My problem is this - This FSX is so addictive I can't just start it to find theversion that I have, which is required for the SDK reinstall. When FSX startsI just HAVE to FLY. I cannot help myself. Is this normal ?What can I do ? Can I get treatment for this ? I desperately want that versionnumber, and to set up the SDK once more, but I can't get past my startup flight !I MUST start the engines and take off. When I'm in the air I must join the circuit,set up my approach, and land....then try another aircraft, then another flight.Can anybody assist me ? I must get that version number, so I can install the SDKonce again. I suspect that my version number is 10.0.61472.0 (fsx-sp2.20071210-2023)but I cannot check it.:( Can anyone tell me how to find my version number WITHOUT starting FSX ? That maybe my salvation. Or am I doomed to this Groundhog day scenario ? :( Please help !Bill

Just go to the folder you installed FSX into and locate the "fsx.exe" file. Then right-click on it with your mouse and select "Properties". Once the Properties dialog box opens, click the "Version" tab at the top.Cheers,- jahman.

I just reinstalled SDK for the FSX/Accel setup. A simple search will come up with a 2009 post that is step by step - takes a few minutes and you need two of the 3 discs.Ray
