July 20, 201114 yr Hey AVSIM,This is my first post on this site. I've downloaded some scenery files for CYTZ and other canadian airports (both files are seperate), but i can't get them to show up on the library.if anyone has a solution to this, that will be great. :( towerdude towerdude
July 20, 201114 yr If the airports are just bgl files did you add them to your addon scenery\scenery folder? If the airports have their own scenery and texture folders did you add them (activate) to the scenery using the scenery library?

July 20, 201114 yr If you put them in the addon scenery\scenery folder then you do not have to worry about the other thing I asked.Go into your scenery library and make sure that your addon scenery folder is checked. It should be by default, but check it anyway. You might post a link to what you are trying to add so someone can look at them.

July 20, 201114 yr Your links do not work.If Toronto City Center is the one by Art Poole then just follow the directions in the readme file he included. If you do not understand what he is saying look at the tutorials that I posted the links to.

August 2, 201114 yr Author hello, i've got another problem. i downloaded scenery a while back for north bay (cyyb) and it worked fine and now it doesn't seem to work. i followed the instructions, but nothing works. can you help me? thankstowerdude towerdude
August 2, 201114 yr Which North Bay scenery are you referring to; CYYB - North Bay for FSX by Daniel Louvet or North Bay 2008 for FS2004 by Fern Marques? If it is the latter you would have a great deal of problems in FSX because of all the custom photo terrain textures and the alterations to shorelines of the nearby lakes. Regards, Mike Mann Mike Mann
August 2, 201114 yr CYYB-North Bay for FSX is an extremely simple airport to work with; it contains only a single bgl file which you can add to your \\Program Files\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. If Addon Scenery is enabled (as it is by default) in your Scenery Library Settings screen, then you should have no problems with this scenery. Regards, Mike Mann Mike Mann
August 2, 201114 yr Author ok I really don't get it. I already put the bgl file in the scenery folder. towerdude
