user permissions

The other day i had to re-install my flight simulator again! I'm using Windows 7, 32bit and FSX so my question is this.I read that you could set up another user account specifically for FSX which would help FSX run quicker. I set up my new user account called "flight sim"and installed FSX and all my additional aircraft which all work fine. What i would like to know, is this. Is there any way to stop flight sim working in the other main account, as at the minute FSX works fine but the add-on aircraft, especially from PMDG and Quality wings don't, and FSX then crashes. I'm not sure if it's possible to stop access from one user and not another to one program. I have both accounts set as "administrator" if that helps. Thanks for any help anyone might be able to shed my way.Regards.David Phillips

Well the Administrator has permissions that override all user accounts so it won't work. For that type thing to work you need to have an Admin account that is rarely used. Then set up a regular user or users (non admin) and install FSX for that user. After that it will only be visible to the specific user AND the Admin because the admin account sees everything.Frankly, IMHO it's not worth the effort as far as performance goes unless you have something else running in the other profile.Vic
