F1 Cessna Mustang has no ILS frequencies in G1000

Featured Replies

I was flying the F1 Citation Mustang, which is a great plane, and was suprised that the G1000 database does not seem to contain ILS frequencies. I used the MFD waypoint feature to try and look up ILS frequencies for KPHX and was suprised that they were not listed in the frquency list for the airport. My RealityXP G530 has them in its database. I was wondering if they are no longer included in the G1000 (which I assume is newer than the 530). Are they autoloaded with an approach perhaps?

They are definitely autoloaded with the approach so they are in the G1000 database. There is a Mustang support forum for registered owners BTW where these things are discussed :(

Hi Bert, Thanks for the reply. Yes, I thought maybe they were in the database but were not visible for lookup like in the RealityXP 530 unit. That is what was puzzling me. Thanks for the tip on the support forum. Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum.Tom
