Cannot right-click ingame

Featured Replies

So I had the problem where you cannot right-click to bring down the drop-down menu in-game (this seems like a problem quite a few users will experience). To resolve this issue, I followed these steps.

  1. Navigate to your fsx.cfg file. (mine was located under: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX)
  2. Make a backup copy of the file
  3. Delete the fsx.cfg file and start up FSX.
  4. It should give you a notification about setting keys, press Yes. (It is just like when you first started FSX after the first time you installed it)
  5. Test out the right-click, the issue should be resolved.

Suggest you rename your fsx.cfg file, rather than delete it..All your saved settings will be deleted as well...

I didn't rename mine, I just made a new folder (highlighted in green) with the original in it.I don't know if this is associated with deleting/moving the fsx.cfg file (highly doubt it as when I replace the new with the original smoke still does not work) the smoke will not work on the Extra 300 & FA-18, I believe this is another problem all together.Edit: It seems something was corrupted in my Gauges - ran a repair programme and got it sorted out!
