Hi,I am about to spend "a bit" on FSX, I will be buying:UTX,GibraltarX,UK2000 Heathrow ( in the end I decided to go for UK2000 because I would like FPS friendly add-ons....and from what some of you guys said and the info internet gave me, I can see that this add-on is really FPS friendly)Level-D 767 and Super80 ...Now, I'd like to have three short-medium range aircrafts, one is the Super 80... now I am looking at the Flight1 ATR and the Flight1/Digital Aviation Fokker 70/100...I'd like to have some info ( Virtual Cockpit,FPS impact etc..) before going to buy the ATR or the Fokker...Straight%20Face.gifThanks...

The ATR is an old port and the VC is, at best, just adequate. Take a look at http://atr.flight1.net/forums/default.asp before making a decision. The Fokker is a wonderful sim, but hard on framerates, has no VC, and has no official support at all - see http://www.simforums.com/forums/fokker-70100_forum41.html . For short and medium ranges I recommend the FeelThere EJets V2.0 or the ERJ135-145 V2.DJ

Hi DJJust had to say...It really is, posts/replies like yours that help to make Avsim so great!Seriously. Not only short, but accuarate and to the point information, but also taking the time to include links.Surburb help, especially for newbs.Good stuff!

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

I can see that this add-on is really FPS friendly)I'd like to have some info ( Virtual Cockpit,FPS impact etc..) before going to buy the ATR or the Fokker...
Do yourself a favour - you've got a 2600('K', I assume?) - bump the clock up to 4.5 gig or better, and then stop worrying about frames.......http://forum.avsim.net/topic/340021-overclocking-sites/

There is no penalty for loading GEX textures, because it takes as much work to load a default blah texture than it does to load the better GEX textures.Cheers,- jahman.
