HiI am having trouble adding scenery on FSX using Win 7.I have heard that there has been a problem with adding scenery onto FSX using win 7 already and i have been looking for ages.My operating system is: Win 7 64 bitScenery i want to download is: DubaiX and the links is : http://www.flightsim.com/kdl.php?fid=133538I have already downloaded the file and extracted it and gone onto FSX and tried to add it.But when i press okt he box wont go away and i even click on the file.Its very frustrating.Thanks for your timeEmirates A380

It does work. I've been using that technique for years. There is no "other way" unfortunately.

So what is happening when you click in the white area?

Nothing just comes up with: view sort by etc. All that stuff.

Are you running the installer as admin?Right click the installer icon and select run as admin.But really that link i sent you should have solved the issue.You should be installing it with the installer, start fsx,scenery library,add area, select the file with the scenery files in it (1 click to highlight it,dont open the file.) and click in the white area.Is that what you are doing?

...oi!, less of that! chill out. Explain this to me a bit more...it sounds like your right clicking...?...should be a left click. Next time it happens, hit the print screen button on the keyboard, open paint, press contol+v save it as a .JPG file and post it here so we can see what you mean. Cant help anymore without a pic.I dont have a crystal ball on my desk, ..
