July 25, 201114 yr As you know I'm going to buy quite a bit of add-ons for FSX...I won't bbe buying Gibraltar X, ATR72-500 nor the Fokker 70/100....why? because with the money saved, as a user suggested in my last post, I'm going to buy a good cooler ( h50 ) so that I can Over-clock my CPU to at least 4.5ghz....Although I'm saving on those add-ons, there is one that I'm interested in...it's the TSS 767 sound package...I'm interested in it because the realism outside the cockpit will be good( REX, UTX and GEX from what I read and read are wonderful together ) but what bothers me is the realism inside the cockpit...I don't hear any noise in the cockpit(apart from the noise engine, and various call-outs...).I also saw the "PERFECT FLIGHT- Sound environment X " but let it go because many simmers on this forum and on other forums were really disappointed with their purchase....Going back to the TSS 767, I'd like your personal opinion on this add-on...Thank you,P.S I'd prefer the product to be payware...so if anyone can suggest another good product I'd prefer if this would be payware...unless it's a really really good freeware product! That "K" is important, there is also an i7-2600 (no "K"), but that one cannot be overclocked. I asked that d***k at the computer shop for the 2600K and guess what he told me!?"Oh you don't need the 2600k, get it without the k" I do not believe it...Well there go my projects TomTheTomable

I asked that d***k at the computer shop for the 2600K and guess what he told me!?"Oh you don't need the 2600k, get it without the k" Too bad. Still, the 2600 is by now means a bad processor for FSX.I understand that you may still be able to do a small amount of overclocking with the 2600, try asking for advice in the hardware/overclocking forum: http://forum.avsim.net/forum/326-mobo-ram-cpus-other-hardware/ (the mods will lock this thread if it turns into an overclocking discussion). It (FSX) MUST have the K version of the proc in order to get the performance you (we all) want. The store guy is a dink. July 25, 201114 yr Here are a few options.. I would have added something earlier, but oddly I couldn't post on my iPad while at work.. Go with the PMDG JS-4100. It's a great twin prop commuter. Also consider the TrackIR5.. I don't fly without it and have been a loyal customer for years.-Damien Damien Furtman Hovering Hellion

The regular 2600 is just perfect for any general use, he should be able to resell it quite easily. Umberto Colapicchioni http://www.fsdreamteam.com FSDT on Facebook
