I have now completely updated all 3 UTX programmes and run their setup.exe as administrator but stillthe water shows up as terrain...............WITH ONE EXCEPTION. When I run the Aerosoft Demo of theDH Beaver at Alcatraz ...the Bay is filled with luverly water.Oh and I have also tried removing any aircraft that were fairly recently installed - no luck George

There's your culprit--unless the Bay is also filled with water when you're not using the demo.Rich

Here is the latest.....Following Rich`s comment I uninstalled the Alcatraz Demo and then loaded a Free Flight on the Icebreaker inSan Francisco Bay - and there was the water. So I think Rich is right and I have found the culprit.Next I load a free flight in Inverness (Scotland) and once again plenty of nice blue water.I really thought the problem was cured until following a reboot I loaded up the default flight atFriday Harbour and the darn Terrain was back - tried Seattle and no water.Loaded a free flight in Juneau and plenty of blue water. This has me more confused than ever, so I am gonna uninstall UT USA and reinstall to see if that helpsbut if anyone has another idea please write Many thanks George

If you haven't already, run the UTX Setup with that Demo uninstalled. That might solve the remaining problem without needing to reinstall anything.Rich

I have this same problem but only about 50 miles into the Pacific starting around PNW land and North to PAKT. Looks like I'll have to start over anyway because I recently lost a gen 1 ssd drive with 100+ gigs of FSX stuff. Thanks for the tips though. jja

Hi Guys Pleased to report that the problem appears to have been solved. I found the problem was mostly in the Pacific North West area of the USA so I visitedOrbyx forum and found a similar problem had been reported. The answer was to ensure their latest patch (004) and latest libraries were both installed. After this water NOT terrain appeared in the PNW area. Hope this will help Thanks for you help George

Glad you found the solution and you now have water to land on/fly over. Strange that I have the same PNW scenery addon and have never seen this problem. Best regards,Jim
