July 28, 201114 yr Hi everybody! I'm looking around for a new computer, and i found a place that sells gaming-computers relativly cheap. So i wonder; Will this computer run addons like the Maddog and the iFly toghether with addons like REX and detailed (Aerosoft) sceneries? July 28, 201114 yr Both the config's should run FS9 without a glitch, infact you will also be able to run FSX quite well do to the dual core, but do not expect FS9 to use the dual core , it would run only on a single core. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 28, 201114 yr Author Ok, so i would be able to fly the PMDG 747 over the atlantic without any stuttering and stuff at the end? Cuz that would be AWSOME!! :D
July 28, 201114 yr Yep, but a question the PSU AXP 500 W is it a branded one ? as the HD 6xxx series requires something above 600W, please read the PSU requirements for the HD 6xxx series card on the ATI website, don't go looking at the 500 W sticker buy a branded pure output PSU. Else your card will under perform and cause machine troubles like reboots / CTD / hanging. And if you are going to use FSX then you will need the SP1 & SP2 patches as those patches makes FSX use both the cores. On this rig FSX should run at abt 15-20-30 fps. Hey but not with heavy addons, there good tweaks available to make FSX run smoother but everyone does not benefit from all tweaks. I personally use Bojote's Highmemfix tweak. July 28, 201114 yr Not according to AMD's website: Then you are good to go , but take a branded PSU I do not know anything about the AXP I myself use an unbranded 450W which gives me about 300-350 W output but then I am using a HTPC Sapphire HD 5450 1GB . Is it listed on the ATI site ? Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 28, 201114 yr Author What about the Corsair CX 500W PSU. Corsair has a good reputation, right? Or the Corsair CX V2 500W PSU
July 28, 201114 yr What about the Corsair CX 500W PSU. Corsair has a good reputation, right? Or the Corsair CX V2 500W PSU Yep Corsair is good but expensive. In fact all branded PSU's are expensive but they provide pure wattage . Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 28, 201114 yr Believe I would go with the Phenom CPU for the small difference in price. Agree Phenom's are good performers and at a good price. Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus
July 28, 201114 yr Okay, i will probably get the second rig + the Corsair cx v2 PSU Looking good. Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
July 29, 201114 yr Author I just need to ask... Does any one have a consideration of approx. how many frames i will get in like the iFly vc? Is there someone who has a similar rig who could share some numbers?
