TOPCAT question

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, I'm sorry to post this here, but I know there is so much FS knowledge contained in this forum that I will get a proper answer here. Last week I decided to finally switch to FSX (think we all know why ;-) ) and to be honest I found it a very frustrating ecperience at the start, but after a week of tweaking and setting up stuff it's running good. Just one thing I can't seem to fix. I use TOPCAT to set up the loading od the aicraft and performance calculation, but since I switched to FSX I am never able to send the payload info to the aicraft and I get a message saying "IPC request contains bad data" Is there anybody here who can point my nose in the right direction? Thanks a mill!Sean De Maere

You might need to start Topcat as administrator. I found if I dont I get an error similar to yours.

Do you have FSUIPC installed? Topcat needs it to connect to FSX.
