  1. And off course we as simple flightsimmers interacting with a piece of software are qualified to judge these professionals?
  2. Are you a real life pilot? If not ... I would leave it up to the professionals to decide what's right or not.
  3. PMDG's silence on this matter is deafening. It would be nice to get an official statement on their thoughts about this.
  4. Give it a rest please. English is not his first language and he apologised. Once you speak dutch as well as he speaks english then maybe you can compare, as long as you don't, you wouldn't have a clue about how difficult speaking another language can be!
  5. Arguing with people trying to help you is not going to work man. You know that it didn't work with P3D (and if you didn't you didn't read the product page properly), so don't argue about it.
  6. Also you need to enter your weight correctly in the FMC, otherwise the aicraft doesnt know its weight

Yep, I found the same solution. I deleted my throttle assignments from FSUIPC en re-mapped them through normal FSX channels. All the rest of my controls are still going through FSUIPC, seems to be working fine now

Yes I am, I created a "2 engine jet" ^profile that I also used for the NGX and it worked fine, but now I'm running into trouble. The strange thing is: it works fine when I turn the A/T switches off, but obviously that's not how it is supposed to be.

Hi everyone, Just wanted to throw something in the group and see what you think. I have Saitek yoke and throttles (and rudder pedals). My issue with the B777 is the following: As long as the engines are not running my physical throttle levers command the throttles in the sim perfectly. From the moment both engines are started, moving my physical levers does still move the levers in the sim but they snap straight away back to idle. I can control the levers using F2-F3 and then they do not snap back to idle. In the simulation options I have A/T override option set to: "in hold mode only", I've tried changing it to "never" and "always" but that doesn't change anything. Any thoughts?
  10. Maybe you can try to log on to your account on the PMDG website, and the downloadlink should be there in your order history
  11. God, it's not even released yet and the questions:"is this real" "is that real" is allready starting. Just look at it like that: they've spend 18 months making it as real as possible. So to answer your question: yes, it's real!
  12. Nobody wrote anything ..... Kinda how the story went this whole development really

I say again: A fully simulated ground friction model under icy/slushy/wet conditions

A fully simulated ground friction model under icy/slushy/wet conditions?
  15. This waiting game is getting tiresome :-/
  16. 1600 kg for a 747 on a long route is really neglectible  That's 400KG per engine .... If you're a little bit off your profile or a tad more headwind then preflight you can easily reach that number.

Following an airline up close that has his B788 in final assembly ..... I'd say YES!!
  18. For the NGX I had 0.6 difference less fuelburn then what pfpx calculated. For the 747X I had a 1.6 difference more fuel burn then calculated on a 4500nm flight. So, it's pretty spot on
  19. Luke, Over the last couple of weeks, I've been reading on ETOPS quite a lot, but a lot is still Chinese to me though It would be interesting, if you would ever have the time, to make a little tutorial on how you plan your etops flights, which fixes you put into the FMC etc... I, and I think a lot of fellow simmers, would be forever grateful grtz
  20. it's not like somebody is forcing them
  21. Thankfully, poof, you have nothing to say here. I you would have put on your reading glasses you would've seen I said they make great software
  22. ###### opinions don't interest me :-) if you don't see the fact that RSR's post are carefully constructed breadcrumbs to feed the hype of this product (that will ultimatly feed his wallet) that says a lot about you
