July 30, 201114 yr X-Plane 10 is looking pretty good and after all these years it's finally coming of age to me where I feel it's worth a look. Flight Simulator on all fronts seems to have consistently topped X-Plane but now I'm seeing features like what's able to be accomplished with the new default 744 that give it some unique pluses on par with FS. Now my question is have they finally embraced traffic in X-Plane 10? I may be a little late on the whole experience but last I checked the skies in X-Plane were pretty lonely unless one was flying online. If X-Plane has traffic and ATC on the level of Flight Simulator I will take a look. Thanks in advance for any feedback you guys can give. July 30, 201114 yr Hi Well i have never used the full version (demo) but it is pretty much the same level as the Microsoft Flight Simulator now with many using it for CAA/FAA Training. There most probably is a refund option and there's a demo on the site so go for it :D. Remember write back about it if you try it :(. Regards Michael Atherton
July 30, 201114 yr Hi All, Let's be clear that there is no XP 10 Demo yet, though there is a demo for XP 9.
July 30, 201114 yr Hi all ! Yes, for now only X-Plane 9 is available, and if you want the best ATC you'll need to fly online on IVAO or VATSIM. If you want X-Plane 10, you'll need to wait a few months. July 30, 201114 yr Now my question is have they finally embraced traffic in X-Plane 10? According to developers, X-Plane 10 will have ATC and AI traffic. See e.g. http://www.x-plane.com/blog/2011/05/time-lapse-takeoffs/ Marco "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
