Very impressive resume Sir.Well done. I'm sorry if you felt offended, it was not my intention. My point still stands though. Let's stop the irrelevant to the NG/NGX discussions and the general-isms which arise from various sources of "expertise" or even expertise as in your case. In the era of specialization it would probably be better to let the current engineers/pilots of the NG talk about their machine. I am pretty sure that people with your credentials and experience could get 2 type ratings per week. Still, unless someone is type rated on the NG, I'm pretty sure you also agree, he cannot achieve the level of understanding which is required to describe and explain the specific qualities of the airframe simply because he doesn't have the experience on the type. If I have a brain aneurysm and decide to go to the best and most famous cardiac surgeon in the world I'm pretty sure he'll give me a DIRECT TO to a probably less famous but more specialized neurosurgeon. Unfortunately that's how life is. And I'm pretty sure that somehow, somewhen, some other non trained-on-type gentlemen started those rumors/urban legends about the excellence, the realism of the flight model and the high fidelity of this awful 787 or the other awful DC4 I bought a few years ago simply to realize that I spent money on 2 C172 flight models with a cool visual model.
