What is the problem using FSUIPC for NGX Throttle?
On the second issue- try to see if you can use the add-on controller in question, while its driver isn't being loaded, and FS has the joystick connected.

TAT and Anti-Ice...
TAT is not an atmospheric but rather an aircraft parameter, compunded by the atmosphere around it and its dynamic pressure, or calibrated airspeed. Icing conditions exist in or near visible moisture at static air temperatures between plus 10 and minus 20 degrees centigrade. Nothing Boeing has control over.

NGX pitch at flight level
Transport category aircraft are designed to cruise with a level passenger cabin floor, for comfort. It will vary slightly with gross weight,Cost Index and selected flight level. Longer range aircraft will have it slightly up and gradually leveled as fuel is burned. The angle of wing incidence takes care of that. In an average B737NG and typical load, pitch attitude should be 2-3 degrees nose up initially.

After installing PMDG737X the PMDG747x and LevelD767X errors
Can you please post your dii.xml text content to help solve a similar problem, thanks.

HGS has no data displayed
The head up display stopped working sometime along aircraft use, not sure exactly when as it is seldom used. Yes it is properly selected. Any ideas how to restore it?

Difficult to slow down
First, one should study the literature, then fly a tutorial.Either you let the FMC calculate your route and then you should modify it to observe annunciations, or prescribe your own data. Just don't expect an aircraft to do whatever you want in the latter method, just whatever it is designed for.The lower ability to decelerate, indicates efficient aerodynamics.

Flight Planner for PMDG
Works like a charm as it always did. Ensure the PMDG flightplan folder path is correct. If not, it will issue a warning after BUILD. SIDs and STARs can be avoided in the plan by checking the relevant preference.STARS are often entered during cockpit preparation, even for very long flights. STAR selection is based on destination airport routine, known weather trends and forecast

how real is the pmdg vs the real 737
For your information, pilots with ATPL licenses, at least in some western countries, get a B737NG type rating, without flying one minute in the real plane. Following a few months of theoretical studies, they spend less than a week in a LEVEL-D simulator for practical training, during which normal and unusual procedures are trained, then proficiency tested. The type rating qualifies you to fly the aircraft, in other words you are qualified to replace the captain when the situation requires so. Following this, it is up to the operator to decide if and what further training and experience is required for qualification as airline first officer. Such training would be carried on regular scheduled passenger flights with the captain qualified as flight instructor.

Is Drag Required a consequence of what ?
The aircraft is designed to descend at 3 degree slope automatically, which VNAV does. Proper data including weather has to be input for correct FMC calculations, which will not require speedbrake use up to MLGW.Both arrivals mentioned, to Rio and Innsbruck conform to this. In Rio the descent from 12,000 to 2,000 feet is planned along 40NM flightpath, which is fine.

STAR With VNAV - Help Please
The 14,000 (13,000 in the other edition) feet minimum in REYES lies between two flight segments, those before and after the subject fix, requiring 11,000 feet flight.

STAR With VNAV - Help Please
The REYES minimum altitude restriction on the chart to me seems inconsistent with the rest of the arrival procedure. I have another edition of the chart with similar date validity where it is different (13000) but still inconsistent.

How do NG pilots know when to put flaps?
There's an excellent article in the latest PC Pilot edition by Mike Ray, free. For environmental and financial reasons, the practice of a continuous descent path with delayed flap extension is gradually becoming a wordwide standard.

Excessive ground effect on landing
AIRCRAFT SIMULATION TECHNIQUES USED IN LOW-COST, COMMERCIAL SOFTWARE Michael K. Zyskowski* Microsoft Corporation Redmond, WA *AIAA Member, Aerospace and Software Design Engineer AIAA Modeling and Simulation Technologies Conference and Exhibit 11-14 August 2003, Austin, Texas AIAA 2003-5818Quoting from page 7: Mach and Ground Effects The effect of Mach number on the aircraft coefficients, drag, power and stability and control are handled through a similar table look-up interpolation routine to the one used for high alpha/beta corrections: (21) Ground effect is handled the same way. However, we utilize the ratio of height AGL to aircraft wing span to simulate the additional lift experienced in ground effect.

Arming VNAV mode
It might be useful to remember the following:a. VNAV and LNAV arming on the ground, let the FDs use calculated flight path output to drive their displays. Useful after liftoff to determine accurate pitch angle for V2 plus 10, and manually fly the planneds vertical and lateral departure procedure profile while the autopilot isn't yet engaged.b. Airborne, once height constraints are met, pressing CMD connects active FD output to the autopilot selected channels and modes, for hands off autoflight.

Ne airplane to build dreamline 787
It will take a couple of years or more to develop, so the time is right. With PMDG direct contact with the manufacturer, they don't need to snoop around for data. Why wait for others to do it?

Consistent Crashing After HF4
Hello, since installing HF4 I've been getting consistent crashes, about 30 seconds after loading B738WL is done. Modern PC running Win 7 64 SP1, FSX SP2, i7 on X58 Asus MB, 6GB hi-speed RAM, no other programs running, default scenery. Worked fine following every previous HF.Deleting FSX.cfg solves this for one operation.

Trying to manually fly VNAV via the FD is tough because
Pilot handling qualities are dependant on flight control system mechanical characteristics, specifically- control travel, breakout, friction, slope and hysteresis. Gamer controllers do not provide reasonable replication of these characteristics. I don't expect anything nearly realistic in flying with my Saitek yoke, and therefore rely on autoflight.Second, as mentioned earlier, the technique for correct control feedback is to first make the input and after stabilized, trim out the control forces. The control forces provide strong feedback to the human, the others are control displacement (not available on Airbus FBW), and instrument readings, also- outside visual reference in VMC.
