JS4100 FMC wont respond to on switch

Hi ... when i try to switch the fmc on the switch doesn't respond. I've tried re-installing SP2 as suggested in a thread on the forum but to no avail. I'm running a win 7 64-bit system ... The only "solution" that I have is to start FSX, choose a default aircraft at any airport. Once the sim loads, choose the JS4100. Hope that helps.

You should be able to turn it on when you have the battery buses hot and the avionics buses hot. If it is not operating in these conditions you may have an activation issue. Try these steps. Uninstall, Install J4100, start FSX and load up J4100, close FSX, Install SP1 for J4100. See if that fixes your problem. If not, contact PMDG, their support is great.

thanks for the feedback. The problem only exists with the pop-up version of the gauge. Now that I've discovered how to navigate the panel with the mouse-look function described in the JS41 documentation I can zoom in and use the version which is part of the main panel which works a treat ... Alan
