I've been haring all around the forum of Ryan's FSX tweak post. I followed his Nvidia Inspector guide with great results. I've searched and searched and can't seep to find the sister post. Ruben

No, it's a section of the manual that will come with the NGX. Not a forum post. Ryan has been an avid forum participant like the rest of us. I can say with some confidence that most of the tweaks he will mention probably can be found here, on the Avsim forums. I'll start with the following. "Bojote's" AKA *******' tweaker. ******* has been a very helpful man in the FS community and an active member of these forums. He made a great tool here:http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html He also has a Shader 3 mod, which helped my performance on my (older) system.http://forum.avsim.n...30-mod-for-fsx/ Perhaps Ryan will also mention the ENB Series mod. I'm using a custom config file for that, which I'm more than happy with.

I just reinstalled FSX in preparation for the NGX... set up per Ryan's pinned thread, set up the external FPS limiter, and ran my FSX.cfg through ******* Bojote's tool... and I was sitting in the MD-11 on the ground running 20+ sustained... default airport, so nothing special with scenery (on my system... if I wanted a slideshow of an airport I'd drive over to KMSP and take some pictures myself) Sliders are probably a lot lower than what most of the systems I see in the sigs here are running but that is with normal autogen and the other sliders set to my standards. I fly on a Toshiba Satellite A505 - i3 @ 2.13 ghz, 4 GB RAM, nVidia Geforce 310M ... and if I can get this performance out of it I can't imagine how great it must be for all of you with really awesome-looking systems in your sigs... If it wasn't for dropping $1500 into my car for an engine swap due to a rod knock I'd have one by now... that'll have to be next summer... :)

Yeah, please don't expect some crazy new infomation guys - if you know about *******'s site, my Nvidia settings post and basic PC setup and configuration, this will likely be old news to you. We just want to make sure that people who aren't active on the forums and stuff are still made aware of how to get better performance out of FSX...
