August 2, 201114 yr I dont understand your question. Can you enlighten us a little more to what your referring to? Jeff Blyth MD11 J41 747 NGX . . awaiting 777 !!!
August 2, 201114 yr It's more or less a statement Jeff, rather than a question. An MEL (Minimum Equipment List) in layman's terms is a list with all the equipment that can be inoperative on a plane; and it outlines what has to be done to allow the plane to be dispatched with that inoperative component/system. However, the plane can only continue to be dispatched for only a specified period of time, after which, the plane becomes grounded and corrective maintenance must be carried out before the plane can fly again. That being said, I don't want the plane grounded; and I want everything sorted out with Nil MEL's in the log so I can thoroughly enjoy the sim product. I think PMDG would be all too happy to entertain my request. Ashley Frew. PS. Thanks for the laugh Chris D! This topic was very witty indeed.
August 2, 201114 yr Would be good to get (and im not sure what the correct term is) the checklist/document that is handed over by Boeing to the airline (purchaser) who collect it then check off the items/operating systems etc on the delivery or pickup flight. Hope this makes sense. Anybody know any more on this process? Jeff Blyth MD11 J41 747 NGX . . awaiting 777 !!!
