Hello, for some reason when I'm on my flight plan my MD 11 goes into overspeed, even though the speed is set to the selected FMS speeds, I had the CI at 99 so I thought it was just overflying the plane, I brought my CI down to 80 and my cruise speed was around 350kts, and it will just jump from 320kts to 370kts and the plane pitches down to correct then I have to hit FMS under the speed hold on the autopilot panel, only 20 mins later it will do it again, any ideas?

maybe it has something to do with my Prof to my T/C, maybe I should lighten the alt increases, she seems to just want to race into the sky, also btw (i think this is in the tutorial) when you start your decent how can you get the md 11 to decend to each assigned alt? I set my alt below the required decent path but it doesn't seem to want to decend, probably a whole other issue lol

Hi Nathan,It sounds like your speed problems are due to winds in FSX. You can either disable your winds aloft or use a registered version of FSUIPC to smooth the wind changes. In answer to your second question you need to set your altitude in the MCP window (sounds like you're doing that) and have the aircraft in PROF to capture the descent profile. A good value for the tutorial flight would be 7,000ft as that's the altitude to be at by GIPOL if memory serves correctly.

If you use REX weather engine (instead of default FSX weather) you will face the same problem. Yes FSUIPC is the method to smooth the wind out, but I would suggest using ASE for weather, Rex for textures and FSUIPC if needed.
