*RESOLVED* FTX has a new Lights Configurator that I downloaded and installed/configured and now I have lights! thanks

Hi all, I have Prepar3d V3. I installed Prepar3d V3 recently as well as the PMDG 737NGX and Preciptfx. I downloaded FTX Global 1.40 and installed it seeing it has compatibility for Prepar3d V3. I went to Program Data and checked the Terrain.CFG and there are ORBX entries within this file (I used to move it to the P3D foler install FTX and move it back.) The textures seem to be working without an issue, but the Lights do not. I did end up going to the Scripts folder and setting the lights in FTXLights to a different size and type but no avail. There is an ORBX Libraries update, not sure if that has something to do with it? Any suggestions? thanks!

Hi all, I logged in with my account and see my latest September 2015 purchase of the 737NGX for P3D but I don't see my 777 order or my older 737NGX for FSX order? I put the 777 order code in and my email and it told me to log in via the account screen instead. thanks! *RESOLVED* silly me has two accounts lol, oh dear maybe I shouldn't fly today.

I flew the PMDG NGX all the time in FSX. I upgraded to Prepar3d some time ago and just a few minutes ago I shelled out another sum of money for the NGX to fly in Prepar3d, I think this bird is worth every penny and have no hesitations on paying again. Can't wait!

awesome, thanks! I got it solved somewhat just compile outside that folder then drop it back into P3D

ADE will not let me compile airports saying access is denied even though Prepar3d is installed directly to C: ? I have also unchecked read only for the files and sub folders and files. Any thoughts? thanks!

*RESOLVED* I set the Autofeather to my key and not Alternate Static Source, worked like a charm, this can be resolved thanks!

*update* as I scrolled down the panel I found them at the bottom. So they are there, I reinstalled anyways but no luck when I assigned my key to the Alternate Static Source in the controls. I didn't see anything in the .dll file but not sure if something should be in there. Running things as administrator at this point, gonna keep troubleshooting thanks!

Hi all, I reinstalled FS2crew recently and I see that the Windows are listed in the panel.cfg for the 777 as 20-24 yet when I scroll through it stops at the last PMDG 777 window 19. Everything else is enabled and installed, any ideas? maybe a reinstall I'm guessing thanks!

Hi all, first off I can't tell you how much I love this product! easliy one of my favorite FS add ons, had it for the MD-11 and thought it was brilliant. I only have two issues that I can really see at this point but I'm sure I'm doing something wrong: 1. Is there any additional configuration areas for PA announcments (Flight Attendent messages like safety announcement, cruise (movies), decent and arrival? the reason is when I land I get the "Ladies and Gentlemen...blah blah" as I slow down, but when I exit the runway it starts again and I suddenly have two flight attendents in a chorus of the same message. To combat this I find that if I stay on the runway for most of the message she wont repeat her self on the taxiway exit. I also don't seem to get all the announcements like the safety briefing or the inflight entertainment (maybe that one depends on length of trip?) I also am on a flight to PHX currently and when I hit FA the FA never comes, I'm kinda hungry! haha 2. When I look at the online map I don't see myself, though I have it enabled in the CFG, but that may be a tutorial thing. Thank your help folks!

WOAI works great, I have UT2 but had frame issues, now looking at the fact about the traffic.bgl..........I'm a little curious haha, but WOAI is great because I really just download the big airlines I usually travel, though would be nice to see the real world traffic that goes in and out of airports

Hi all, I know there are many factors to this but for people with similar addons for FSX and P3D and run them on the same specifications with both PMDG 737 products, how does the PMDG 737 P3D product handle frame rate wise comparable to the FSX Product? thanks!

@777simmer that sounds like a plan, I usually did that on previous aircraft @ollli4740 in all honesty I put my fuel/payload in, then set my HDG and ALT SPD turned on the Flight Directors and input they ILS/CRS into the NAV/RAD then went and had fun lol, probably need to do some more FMC programming?

Hi all, before I start please feel free to go READ THE MANUAL and shame me for posting such silliness! : P So to put it as simple as possible: I have a PMDG 777-200 with Short range fuel and empty (PAX or CARGO version) I take off and do some air work (navigation in the area) planning on either touching down or touch and go back in. I notice that my minimum VREF is 180 to 190kts on the Tape and won't let me fly any slower with my A/T setting , however if I plan a route with the same Fuel/Payload (150 miles or so not much more different then flying some of the navigation in the area) my Approach REF in the FMC can be 138 (143 VREF + 5) with Flaps 25. So basically my question is why does it hold a much higher minimum VREF unless you have a route programmed in? thanks!

Made another CAT 3 just now, this one felt normal, I dunno maybe it was just me on the one that seemed rather hard. Thanks again :rolleyes:

Hi all, I've been using the PMDG 777 and it's an amazing plane. I did notice an interesting thing happen recently, I was performing a CAT 3 landing, had LAND 3 in green with FLARE and ROLLOUT but as the minimums came 50, 40, 30 there was no FLARE and quite the hard landing even though the Autopilot indicated a green FLARE. I haven't tried another landing since but haven't had this issue yet. I did just install FS2CREW so perhaps a setting? let me know what you think! thanks!

I am also having this same issue, the dll.xml shows Addon manager is active, and this happened after the update for me as well. Not sure what is going on.

Honestly, if your a big jet kinda guy the Prepar3d Triple 7 from PMDG is hands down THE BEST aircraft I've ever flown in my simulator. It is simply smooth, reacts quickly and realistically (functions and navigation in the VC), flies like a dream. I expected high quality since it has PMDG stamped on it but this blows away my FSX PMDG 737, MD 11 all day, and any other add on for that matter. Thank you for this wonderful aircraft and please anyone just buy it, you cannot go wrong.
