Hi guys (and girls), I've just been talking to a friend of mine who is a rather high-priced lawyer here in Australia. While it is obvious that emotions are running high given the anticipation in regard to the release of this latest PMDG product, we'd advise those of you making accusations at a certain other developer to "cool it". PMDG have only stated that they are being attacked and that the source appears to be in China. They've not mentioned who this likely source is and for good reason. Please remember that EVERYTHING you say online is recorded and should this other developer feel the need to involve their lawyers and the word "defamation" in order to protect their reputation, you could very well find yourself in serious trouble. So, refrain from speculation, let PMDG and the pros (and law enforcement, if applicable) handle this. Besides, getting all hot and bothered about this isn't going to fix the problem. Patience, people!

Further to my original post, the reason PMDG haven't (and won't) say anything specific about the source is because they do not want to be the potential subject of defamation proceedings in court and also because they do not want to prejudice any potential investigation into this attack. Unfortunately, all that we - the consumer - can do is wait and see. If it takes another day or two for you to get the NGX, it isn't going to kill you after waiting a number of years. Besides, I can't buy it (yet) because my wife won't let me, lol.
