August 5, 201114 yr Hello Team! I' m just on page 114 of your introduction and I have the following question regarding the service based failure system: Does it also take into consideration how I fly the airplane (not just the mean time before failure)? Let's say for example: I'm the kind of guy who is still practicing the landings. So maybe I will do hard landings all the time. Will my breaks or the struts etc. need maintenance sooner than the ones of a pilot who is doing soft landings all the time? Thank you in advance. Can't wait to actually fly her ;-) MAT BERG

August 6, 201114 yr take it easy, sir. they have the busiest days ever in their lives. Just allow them to have some hours to rest. I think it that the system indeed can break things down if you plunge your NGX on the tarmac. But i am not sure. Regards, Harm Swinkels
August 6, 201114 yr Checking the introduction pdf it says in one part: "While any autopilot is engaged in CMD mode, yanking at the controls really hard will result in "breaking" the controller shear rivets (real value 110lbs of force) and destroy the onside FCC(flight control center). The associated autopilot cannot be reengaged" So it shows abuse can cause failures, not sure extensive it goes but I remember also remember a beta member talk about how they buggered up the APU controller but fiddling around with the APU in some incorrect way. I personally deployed the oxygen masks while randomly flicking switches yesterday (listening to all the nice switch sounds) and noticed it in the failures menu for oxygen mask reset, cause in real life you would have to go into the cabin and fold all the masks back into the overhead which would be a big pain in the bum.
