Question Failure System
Hello Team! I' m just on page 114 of your introduction and I have the following question regarding the service based failure system: Does it also take into consideration how I fly the airplane (not just the mean time before failure)? Let's say for example: I'm the kind of guy who is still practicing the landings. So maybe I will do hard landings all the time. Will my breaks or the struts etc. need maintenance sooner than the ones of a pilot who is doing soft landings all the time? Thank you in advance. Can't wait to actually fly her ;-)

Latest Announcement from Robert above
Thank you for the very professional way you guys are handling these issues. It's hard to stay calm, friendly and helpful in such a demanding situation.(especially if someone might not have had the chance to celebrate his birthday yet)

The Facebook profile has updated again.
Hey common - let's guess: how many pictures are still to come:My guess: - touchdown main gear - touchdown nose gear - reversers engaged with nose gear strut compressed :-)

Well I understand why some servers break down under the mass of people longing for information. It's said that there would be some sort of announcement before release. Also it's stated that the release is planned for tomorrow at the latest if no further information is given. So it is clear to me that there are some folks (including myself) who are eagerly waiting for any kind of news - either in the one or other direction. I - for one- have 3 pages I'am refreshing maybe every 1-2hours:- PMDG homepage- AOA Stage- Forum: General/PMDG 737 NGX As soon as I have some kind of information I'm "satisfied" with - I'm satisfied ;-)))I feel like Soccer Championship 2006. Everyone's waiting for the GOAL:-))Take care

AOA PMDG 737NGX Staging Area
Now it's working for me, too. You just have to try again. I like their idea but I think they might see that their servers are not capable of handling us;-)))I'm going to buy their NGX product once it's released

Boeing-Field - Frankfurt 737-800
I had no idea that this is even possible. I thought if you want to fly heading USA (from Europe) or heading Europe (from USA) you HAVE to use the NATs, due to seperation reasons and reduced communication. Are you sure that the coordinates don't represent any NAT that is just not displayed in this filed plan?

Boeing-Field - Frankfurt 737-800
I wanted to use Keflavik because I thought it's a few hundred miles closer to Boeing Field then GB (great circle) and because I bought IcelandX ;-) Oh thank you for your recommendation. I have to take a look at that scenery :-)

Ok, thanks

Boeing-Field - Frankfurt 737-800
Cool - thank you so much for posting this report. Interesting - so it seems to be not much of a problem to get the NG "across". I may have to plan a fuel stop somewhere in GB, but that's it. :-) What if I would want to make a fuel stop in Keflavik? How am I supposed to get there? - Via NAT (without an entry point)?

Boeing-Field - Frankfurt 737-800
That's what I thought, too. It's a few miles more... WOW!!! 150kts tailwind, I guess... ;-)If the winds aren't as planned or they decide to do a fuel stop, how do they manage the NAT routes? I use "RouteFinder" for flight planning and I already planned a route from MUC to Keflavik. But I'm not able to plan a route from Keflavik to KBFI...that's the reason I ask...

Boeing-Field - Frankfurt 737-800
Hi folks! As soon as the NGX is released (hopefully soon) I want to simulate a realistic ferry-flight from boeing field to someplace in Germany (maybe FRA or MUC). - is the maximum range really sufficient without pax and cargo to commence the flight non-stop?- If the maximum range isn't sufficient for this route, where is the fuel-stop? - Iceland? and what could the routing be like? (NAT??) Thanks in advance for your answers. Take care and I hope we'll receive a notice about the release of the NGX soon.

Extending the landing gear
One procedure I know of:ILS: One dot before glideslope captureNPA: 1 NM before Point of Descent Gear down Flaps 15 Speed ~ 150kts (737 cl)I think there are many different company procedures out there ;-)
