Hi, As title says.. . I still cannot activate. It's almost 9pm here in the UK. Is there really absolutely no way I can activate this thing? I am really cool with the whole DDoS matter. Not PMDG's fault, but honestly... I just want to activate the NGX and use it. How big is the activation footprint on the servers? Sorry but seeing other people who has absolutely no issues from buying, downloading and activating... and I seem to run into issues at each step.... Rant over... just need some help if I can get it Thanks.bump

I know PMDG are under attack but how is it that most people here got their NGX activate it and others can't? Are they filtering UK traffic? Are the servers being pounded? If so please let us know and offer us an alternative... like dunno a bespoke registry key to get it sorted... or whatever. Seriously. If PMDG knew they were under attack for the last X months and that it coincided with release of info about the project then perhaps they could have found alternative ways to minimise impact on paying customers.. like not relying entirly on activating servers.. if and when customers got their product.... I am sorry if being miffed annoys you, but perhaps you activated your NGX and are using the product you paid for.. and I am here wasting my time instead of doing something else... I have very little time to devote to my hobby.. and I am not enjoying spending it this way... Wanna call me immature and impatient...be my guest.

Same here, nothing.Told myself, I would never do this opening day purchase thing ever again because of crap like this. But just couldn't help myself. Man, this crap truly sucks.

I've had enough. I stopped trying and PMDG have offered no alternative. I guess you just had to be lucky today and time it right. Unfortunately for those who have a job you can't sit around to wait for the right time. I honestly think PMDG should have been more outspoken about the attacks they have been under so people like me could make an informed decision as to whether buy on day 1 or not, or at least come up with a contingency plan on alternative ways to register the product. Had this come out of the blue, f/e but PMDG admitted it had been targeted on a persistent basis. I will buy the 777 but not on day 1 unless they can offer guarantees that it can be registered should the same happen again. To those who got their NGX up and running, enjoy your evening flying it. Hi guys,To activate, if you look at your 'Confirmation' E-mail from PMDG.Look for your download URL near to the bottom of the page.3 lines under that is a long 'NGX Base Package' Number beginning NGX8.Thats the one I used and it worked. Good luck guys!!
