Livery Manager problem

Featured Replies

Hi. I've sucessfully purchased and installed the NGX and I'd just like to say, it's an amazing product. So I decided to install some liveries onto it. I opened the Livery Manager, selected the aircraft variant, clicked on 'Select Livery to Install' and navigated to the .ptp file of the livery. I clicked 'Open' and boom! I get a message: "PMDG_Livery_Manager.exe has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...". Happens every time. Can you help me? Cheers.

Cheers, Alistair Hibbert.

You have to run it as administrator by right clicking it and then select run as administrator Cheers ;)

Hi Guys Ok I'm still not able to load any liveries for 737NGX - I only see the PMDG house ones in the list. Am I missing something?

Have you actually downloaded liveries from the download section in the website?

Have you downloaded and installed the .ptp files through the livery manager?

Thanks guys, ran as administrator and it's working now. Thanks for your help. I downloaded the liveries from the website, put them into a new folder and then navigated to the folder inside Livery Manager and chose the files to install. That's all I did.

Cheers, Alistair Hibbert.

I think most of the Livery installer bugs have been fixed. I just did a complete revamp of all my installed liveries and here are the only two errors that I see active: PMDG_737NGX_800WL_OS1.ptp737-800 WL -- Austrian Airlines -- Livery Manager thinks it is an "American Airlines" paint. PMDG_737NGX_800WL_KL.ptp773-800 WL -- KLM Royal Dutch Airlines -- Livery Manager think it is a KLM 737-800 (NO WL) paint. Other than that, they all seem to install fine now...

Yeah, I tried to install the KLM WL and it went into the non-WL model.

Cheers, Alistair Hibbert.

Looks like the issues have been resolved with the last two liveries...
