Livery Manager Crashing

Featured Replies

First off I have to say I'm extremely impressed with the NGX. That said I am having problems with the livery manager. Whenever I try to install a livery, it gets as far as "extracting file", then it crashes. Anyone else seeing this? Not a huge problem, I can live without WestJet colours for now. I have submitted a support ticket, but I haven't heard anything as of yet, and I'm not surprised, PMDG has a lot on there plate at the moment. Does anyone know a workaround for the livery manager? Like a way I could extract the files and manually place the files where they need to go? Or even better a way I could stop the livery manager from crashing.

Yeah same thing has happened to me. I have turned off read only in the aircraft.cfg file cause i want to install QF 738WL New Livery but just does not want to work.

extract them, and run the livery manager with admin rights!

If you can´t read it, you can´t fly it. Real world B777F pilot

I have the same issue. I can install one livery, but if I try to install others, they all disappear in the livery manager. However, all of the texture folders still exist, only the fltsim.xx entries for the aircraft.cfg file are missing.
