August 7, 201114 yr I am new to this forum so if there is anything im doing wrong please correct me. I have recently bought Reality XP's 530 and 430, i searched around and found topics that explain how to integrate the RXP into the VC of the the 208 or the other aircraft. The Cessna 208, i replaced the normal gps with the RXP but when i get into FSX the model from the original is replaced but its a very low resolution picture with no functionality. Same with the other aircraft. Has anyone had this problem before i am willing to give more info on the topic i.e. panel.cfg...etc
August 7, 201114 yr There are two forums you should look at and post in if problems 1. The Carenado support forum at Avsim 2. The RealityXP support forum at Simforums SimForums - A great place for discussion! Also, definitely post all relevant details so we can help you. Bert
August 7, 201114 yr Author This is the two lines i modify in the 208 to try to get the avionics in, recently i found that i was doing something wrong in my rewriting, i put "_nc1" after the "rxpGNS!GNS430" line, when i got rid of the extra stuff that i don't need that led to another problem. The flight simulator would crash every time i tried loading the airplane, it was the same story with all the other aircraft. I marked the modified line with a smiley face to make it more visible. I will post some pictures some if possible.Cessna 208 Grand Caravan[Window00]Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=500,266window_size_ratio=1.000 position=0visible=0ident=794window_size= 0.350, 0.248window_pos= 0.010, 0.750zorder=0 gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS430, 0,0,500,266gauge01=GCCB!Toggle_GPS, 112,34,274,169 [Vcockpit03]Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=512,512visible=0pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$Panel_CARAV_3 gauge00=GCCB!torque, 289,228,112,112gauge01=GCCB!prop_rpm, 289,116,108,108gauge02=GCCB!itt, 288,2,109,109gauge03=GCCB!ng, 401,116,106,106gauge04=GCCB!psi_oil, 399,2,110,110gauge05=rxpGNS!GNS430, 2,161,282,150gauge06=GCCB!Radios2, 2,64,284,95gauge07=GCCB1!RadioAdf, 2,382,270,67gauge08=GCCB1!RadioTrans, 2,313,276,67gauge09=GCCB!Autopilot, 2,2,280,60gauge10=GCCB!AOM, 1,450,272,59gauge11=GCCB!AOM_Lights, 274,466,207,42gauge12=GCCB!anti_ice_amps, 289,342,69,68gauge13=GCCB!Fuel_Quantity_Right, 404,229,104,104gauge14=GCCB!ng, 406, 344 ,100,100gauge15=GCCB!Hours, 288,413,82,50gauge16=GCCB!Toggle_GPS, 63,181,157,93
August 7, 201114 yr OK, first things first: Do the RXP gauges work in any of the default aircraft? Do you have the Garmin Trainer program installed and running by itself? Bert
August 7, 201114 yr Author No it does not work with the default aircraft, I replaced the comm-nav 1 panel in the VC with the GNS430 same "rxpGNS!GNS430" line but it show shows a nonworking picture of the Comm-Nav1 stack. I do run the Garmin trainer program running by itself.
August 7, 201114 yr Are you running Win 7? Try running with UAC off. http://www.reality-xp.com/support/knowledgebase/vista.html See here for a similar situation.. http://www.simforums...topic39249.html Bert
August 8, 201114 yr Author FINALLY! Its working thanks Bert, i needed to turn of the UAC off. Thank you so much i thought i just threw some money in the trash can.
August 8, 201114 yr Happy it worked! These are fabulous gauges - definitely not money down the drain... Bert
