NGX Sounds + Headphones

Featured Replies

Hi everyoneNot sure if it's a bug or something's wrong here in my end, but it only seems to happen with the NGX (tried the maddog, the 744 and the MD11 and all three work fine)When I plug my headphones I can only hear the engines through them. The rest of the sounds keep playing in the speakers.I can even turn off all four sound channels in the FSX config and they will still play in the speakers Have messed with my windows sound config but nothing works, and I can hear everything else (Winamp, Firefox...) through my headphones normally Anyone else with the same issue or is it just me?

have you tried changing the sound setting in the Sound options of the FMC/CDU? you can switch outputs =)

check ur sound card settings. i use sennheiser and is amazing for me.. have a check m8

Through the CDU go into the PMDG setup menu, options then sounds and see if the correct device is selected

No!! Just another reminder that this is a very complex product and checking the manuals before posting can be a big help! Big%20Grin.gif

By the way, are the sounds harcoded in some dll or something?Don't get me wrong, I love them, but I'm just playing with them trying to edit some wav files and it has no effect in the sim.
