RIP David "Opa" Marshal

David Opa Marshall, lived not very far from me, we had lots of e-mail conversations. I was very shocked when he passed, seems like I just talked to him yesterday. RIP David.

That's awful.. I had no idea David had passed away: I had quite a lot of contact with him either via the forum, or we used to e-mail each other every now and again too. I moved here to Bangkok last April, and haven't really been in touch with anything to do with Flight Simulator since then, as my FS9/FSX computer is still in the UK. But as it is being shipped out next week and I intend to start flying again pretty soon, I thought I'd get back into my almost daily fix of AVSIM, but only to be greeted by this very sad news. Well, he's left a great legacy here the forums, so he won't be forgotten. God bless you David.. you have your wings now! Martin
