August 7, 201114 yr I noticed that if I deploy the speed brake at the Top of Descent the 737 NGX will fly the descent profile almost flawlessly. I lowered flaps as required and lowered the speed brake when flap 2 was deployed. Strong winds did not make a big difference. The greatest vertical deviations were 51 feet and only for a few second. I do not know if this is realistic, but it works. Ed
