August 7, 201114 yr I have all the PMDG products and each have all the std waypoints for South Africa however the NGX does not display any? Most of the SIDS and STARS are available though? Furthermore FADN (Durban) is non existant nor the new International airport KISA (King Shaka)I do believe one of the developers hails from South Africa. I hope these become available going forward or perhaps Im doing something wrong?
August 12, 201114 yr I found SIDS and STARS at Cape Town and Jo'burg, but as you say, no Durban International. They are the only three RSA airports I've tried. The new navdata that came with the NGX will apply to all PMDG planes, until the next update Durban will be missing for all. Kevin Hall
August 12, 201114 yr All the waypoint are there for South Africa, I just completed a flight to FACT - FALE, King Shaka, FADN is closed down more then a year ago.You do need too install FALE scenery to fly there, it is not part of FSX. Regards Jannie Roelofse Flight1 Software Project Manager
August 12, 201114 yr Now it makes sense. You learn something new every day. I should add (for those like me who had no idea this had happened) that King Shaka airport replaces the old Durban International airport (which continues to exist as an air force base, if wiki is to be believed). Kevin Hall
