December 28, 200322 yr Why is it every time you delete a scenery from FS2004 you have to go into the scenery cfg file and re-number everything starting from where the deleted scenery was?Today I deleted a Boston Logan scenery (to install a new version) and after I deleted the scenery all the numbers starting from the Boston scenery on was out of order and I had to go re-number them again. Then after I installed the new scenery I had to go back and put a space in between the scenery entries. This isn't a problem, but it is just annoying that I have to do that everytime.
December 28, 200322 yr In what order did you delete the scenery and adjust the Scenery Library entry? Also it might be better to open the Scenery Library, select the scenery from the list and delete it. You will then have to exit FS2004, and then restart FS2004. Prior to the restart, delete the scenery from its physical location.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
December 28, 200322 yr Why on earth would you "have" to do this??? I design scenery and almost never go into the scenery CFG.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com Best, Michael KDFW
December 28, 200322 yr There is usually no need to renumber the layers, but since I do so from time to time, I've written a small utility to do it for me. It also sorts the layers in the new version based on "priority". You can download it from my resources-general web page. www.fs-traveler.com/resources-g.shtmlSteve
