KBOS just got even better

Featured Replies

GeorgeCan you not PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAASE make ALL FS2004 runways look as cool as your KBOS ones ???? Especially those Tyre skidmarks that looks like the real thing - concentrated at the TDZ and gradually less towards the middle parts of the RW !!!!If not , how can it be achieved ?Please???Thanks

I'm psyched that Grimmy has included the new terminal A for Delta. I posted some pics off of the engineer's site some weeks back.I thnk Grimmy is clise to Boston since he even has teh vent buildings from the Ted Williams tunnel modeled. Are ther plans for more North Cargo hangars? When I worked at Logan (1992) NWA did light manintinance on 757's there- they had to drive the tug off of the airport to get them into the hangar :) and the UAL hangar was intended as a temporary structure! (it's still there)Tim

Thx Tom, I'm going to try that out now myself. One more note for all the FS2002 users. I messed up the 2002 ILS in 1.1, so I've just posted a tiny little fix in the library for that. This fix is for FS2002 only. As far as I know the FS2004 ILS is working well, finally :)I've started work on my next airport, Seattle(KSEA). And I hope it doen't upset you guys too much but it'll probably be (evilword) 'Payware'.

Perhaps scenery designers such as yourself could form a cooperative and occasionally make a cd available for distribution. Some files exceed 10 MB and a collection would be worth a payware fee. Consider airports not included by Simflyers, etc. By forming an "association" with each designer accepting an assignment, eventually comprehensive coverage could result.By the way, for a good design, payware is not evil to me. However the collection idea to me makes more marketing sense. Maybe a subscription model? That would accommodate updates.

why do an airport that has already been done if its going to be payware? Seems like I would pay to add to high detail airports rather than replace them? I've never seen KSEA but am sure that MS's version is kinda close enough that I have no care in paying to replace it. Why not try another one like KIAH, KBWI, KHOU, KMEM, KMCI, KOKC, or even Class C airports like KPVD, KWPB etc...? NP

Sounds like you

maybe I came off a little ruff sounding because I have nothing against KSEA at all....it just seems a waste of your talents to redo a high detail airport. If it would be freeware I would replace it in a second knowing how great your work is but to pay for a replacement just makes me feel that I would hope you add to the simming community like what you did with KBOS which needed a big overhaul. Instead of KWPB I meant KPBI and those were just some airports off the cuff not meaning those are ideal. I fully understand that scenery is based on resources like photos and the ability to visit by the the author. Hats off to what you've done with KBOS and I look forward to your future releases and rest assured that any airport that you do thats not arleady a default high detail airport will be purchased by me if you offer it as freeware with no concerns of cost.NP
