August 9, 201114 yr Hi, I raised a ticket but so far, I have not had a response - but I appreciate you have been busy and I am enjoying the 737NGX a great deal; outstanding product by the way! My problem - house suffered a severe power surge which damaged my PC and external hard-drive. I have got a new one and have re-installed FSX (plus Acceleration) and the J41, but I was not prompted to activate the product. When I load it up, have no cockpit instrumentation. How can I fix this, how do activate it? Thanks in anticipation, Bill.Sorry, full name William Moffat, bought using another email, happy to supply details
August 9, 201114 yr If there was no pop up windows asking for key than it means that licensing service is not running or wasn't properly installed. Make sure you don't use any "booster" applications which disable certain services to gain performance, if you're using some aggressive anti virus you can also try disabling it and reinstalling J41. If you have submitted ticket than PMDG will contact you soon with full list of possible solutions. Cheers,
August 9, 201114 yr Author Sawydz, thanks, third install with no services disabled did the trick! Cheers, Bill
August 24, 201114 yr Have raised a ticket myself as once loaded, I get an 'initialisation failure' message and when prompted for the product key, it doesn't recognise it. Continuing through to the sim, I end up with an aircraft with no digital flight instruments and some functionality not working. Was really looking forward to the J41 but so far disappointed. Any ideas from anyone? Nothing back from PMDG yet. Thks -------------------------------------------------- Colin Dobson A problem shared is a problem doubled
