Do I still need FSUIPC?

Featured Replies

I haven't reinstalled it since my clean install of FSX a few days ago. I know the NGX doesn't need it. I'm not using any other aircraft add ons, and probably won't be in the near future now that NGX is out. I've had it for so long I can no longer recall if it is still useful for anything other than weather. I use ASE for weather, so I was wondering if I still might need it for smoothing wind changes. Thanks in advance.

I have it but only because I was told I should. However I have no idea what it does or what it's for but so far NGX is running fine on my 3 year old system so I'll leave it for now. Once I reinstall on my new PC I'll leave it out to see how things go.
