J41 Landing Help Please

Recommended Posts

Hello, I am finally getting to the point where I can really fly this thing OK. Cold and dark startup, taxi, T/O, Cruise and Approach are fine now. I am having a problem in the final stages of landing - I am at flaps 25, torgue at 27-29, speed at about 140knots then touchdown. What do I do now to slow the aircraft down correctly to the point that I can get to TAXI? Thanks in advance, Ron Sagel

You should do three things: -Arm spoilers before landing-Use reverse thrust (F2)-Use brakes Cheers,

Definitely, Brakes, then Reverse thrust, arm the spoilers before touchdown, this spoils lift, then the Aircraft refuses to stay airborne :) You have a nice Approach speed there, Flaps full on approach definitely help!
