ATC Program Recommadition

Featured Replies

Hey guys I did a short flight this morning and used fsx default atc. I usually just enter my flightplan into the FMC then just fly without ATC help. I decided this morning to use fsx default and was it a nightmare. They set me up to vectors at runway 33R into Toronto. And of course the runway was battling a huge crosswind. This was one of the "harriest" landing I have ever attempted in FSX and I knew i should of went missed or went around but it was a fun challenge for my hand flying skills. Anyways to my point, is there an ATC add-on out there that i could use that would allow me to file "actual" flightplans and not just direct GPS. Cause i still want to have the ATC following my flight. Thanks for any help you can provide. Cheers, WestJetter

I use IVAO for actual ATC. VATSIM is another choice. Haven't thought of going back to computerized ATC....but you have to accept it's not always available when you are flying. Should that be acceptable, it's hard to beat talking to a live person. Food for thought.....

Ya i will take a look at both options. I fly in Canada mostly and i find VATSIM doesnt cover Canada a lot of the time. Thanks so much!!
