August 10, 201114 yr Hello, In FSX, is there a way to load the Cold and Dark .sav file automatically? I've searched the manuals (might have missed it) and the forum but cannot find any replies regarding this. The aircraft always starts powered up and ready to go, it must be loading these settings from somewhere - I wanted to do the same but in a cold and dark config. Thank you. August 17, 201114 yr Without sitting in front of FSX, I shoot into the blue: There must be something like "default.sav" which gets loaded automatically. August 17, 201114 yr HelloWhenever you create a flight via the user interface, FS9(X) will generate a new file 'UI generated flight.FLT'. Unfortunately a link to the desired MD11 panel state is always missing in this file. The link is normally found in the last line of a *.FLT file and looks like [PMDG]PanelStateFileName=PMDG\MD11\PanelState\PMDG MD-11 Cold and Dark.savTherefore there is no solution to your problem.
