VRInsight Tact and Toggle switch panel

Featured Replies

I am thinking of replacing my X65F hotas with a yoke, but that means I will loose about a bazillion buttons and hat switches, so I need an alternative. Does anyone know if this VRInsight device is compatible with LINDA: http://www.simw.com/hardware/tact-toggle-switch-panel-tt-panel.html The description seems to indicate that it should be, but is it? Does anyone know of any alternative for getting more buttons? Helge

Yes it does work I tested it extensively for Artem during beta testing of LINDA.

Cheers, Andy.

What do you think of it Andy, Is it worth the price? Helge

Helge Rasmussen

I didn't pay for it so.... If I hadn't seen or tried one before hand I would probably cringe at the price too, but the way I look at is that it is very well built, it's a lot large than I thought it would be and I couldn't have built a panel myself that would look as good. Taking all than into consideration I'd say yes it is worth it. It works fantastically in FSX with LINDA and FSUIPC but it's not so easy to use it in something like DCS A10 as the control assignment system they use in DCS isn't really aimed at this type of hardware i.e. they don't provide a facility to assign commands to both on and off positions of the switches, as I say though that isn't an issue in FS9/X because LINDA and FSUIPC do allow for such assignments.

Cheers, Andy.
